Protective Security Officer - Per Diem -
Flexible to work all Shifts/& Weekends

• In an assigned area(s), patrols the buildings and grounds observing for persons or conditions which could adversely affect the security and safety of the Medical Center.
• Locates and reports hazardous conditions and illegal activities as observed or documented.
• Enforces hospital policy during any incidents using efficient and courteous procedures.
• Handles incident situations per MSMC and departmental policy utilizing resources as appropriate or necessary.
• Maintains a basic understanding of alarm technology, as required.
• Understands the capabilities of and maintains proficiency in the use of all safety equipment and protective garments on campus.
• Prepares accurate reports of such incidents as observed.
• Controls situations. Courteously controls subjects and witnesses and protects the scene and any physical evidence as observed by the discipline and the supervisor
• Conducts interviews. Identifies and obtains statements from all persons having knowledge of the subject of investigation as evidenced by a complete and accurate report

Scope of Responsibility:

Primary responsibility is to direct the day-to-day field construction activities for multiple job site operations. Responsibilities include directing and supervising multiple subcontractors and providing quality control checks.

Position Duties:

� Supervise all activities related to the field.

� Visit all jobs on regular basis to observe and assess the productivity, quality, safety, scheduling procedures and report to the SSR and PMs as needed.

� Oversee the scheduling of each project.

� Supervise, coordinate and schedule subcontractors and job site operations.

� Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements for noise and dust control, non-interruption of client activities, and utility shutdown procedures.

� Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites.

� Provide job site quality control checks to ensure the best possible product in accordance with the Quality Control Plan.

� Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written daily reports for each job.

� Together with the Project Manager, prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties.

� Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project among the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project.
