We have been tasked with providing Disaster Recovery and Emergency Response Services in the event of a catastrophic event such as a hurricane or other natural disasters. These services will include a broad range of positions and will be staffed on a temporary basis with the length of the assignment depending on the severity of the event.
Are you right for this assignment? Because of the nature of this assignment and the possible conditions, this is not for everyone. We believe that the most important attribute that you need for an assignment like this is a heart service. Not only will you be working in some of the most difficult conditions, but you will deployed to serve people in their greatest hour of need. Your attitude of service and compassion is absolutely necessary to be effective in the event of an emergency situation.
In order to be considered, individuals must meet the following minimum requirements:
· Meet all suitability and training requirements
· Must be a citizen of the United States
· Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application
· Must be able to withstand the physical demands of the job
· Must be able to respond to an emergency situation within 24 – 48 hours
· Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screen
· Must posses a valid, state issued I.D.
